India’s Data Protection Law Draft Proposes Exemptions for State Security, Journalism Thedraft data protection lawrecommended by the Justice Srikrishna Committee provides for exemptions for processing of personal or sensitive personal data for various purposes, including security of the state and journalistic activities.
