PUBG Global Invitational 2018 Final Teams Announced
ThePUBG Global Invitational 2018(PGI 2018) wasannounced in Aprilas the“the first major PUBG esports tournament officially hosted by PUBG Corp”. With a total prize money of $2 million, the tournament attracted teams from around the world, who battled it out for the right to compete in the finals which will be held from July 25-29. 20 teams have qualified via a series of regional qualifiers, and will take part in the finals that will be held in Berlin, Germany.
PUBGCorp has now revealed the identity of the 20 participating teams, who come from all around the world, including Europe, the US, Japan, China, Korea, South America, Thailand and more.
The tournament will be divided in two parts, including a third-person perspective (TPP) mode and a first-person perspective mode.“Each perspective mode’s tournament is allocated a $1 million USD total prize pool and two teams will be crowned as world champions at the end of the festivities: one for TPP and another for FPP”, says the company in its press release. While the TPP tournament will be held on July 25 and 26, the FPP edition will take place on July 28 and 29.
