The device sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display (1440x720p) and ispowered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipsetinstead of a budget Snapdragon chipset like usual. This is paired with two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Redmi 6sports a dual camera module of 13MP+5MP on the back, along with a 5MP selfie shooter, which sounds impressive for a budget smartphone. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6. There’s dual-4G support on board, so that’s a good thing.
