Snapchat Update: What’s New?
Snapchat might be going through a lot of problems right now, however, I admire the company a lot more than the likes of Facebook and Instagram. In my opinion, Snapchat is one of the most if not the most innovative social media company. The app which started as a simple way to share photos with your friends has evolved a lot over the past few years. In fact, most of the recent features that we see on other social media platforms were first released on Snapchat and then copied by others.
Snapchat releases new features so frequently that sometimes its hard to keep track of all the features that the company has released over the years. Since there is no single place to find those updates and new features we have created this article to solve that problem. In this article, we are going to list all the updates and changes that Snapchat introduced so you don’t have to scour the web.
Note:If you see the same changelog for multiple versions, it means that the new versions brought bug fixes and improvements to improve the implementation of the said features. It also means no new features were released during those updates.

How to Join Snapchat Beta
As you can see, Snpachat releases updates on a fairly regular basis. Granted that most of these updates are bug fixes, it’s always good to receive the updates sooner than later. That said, if you cannot wait to get your hands on the new features, one way to do it is by joining Snapchat’s beta program.
However, before you join Snapchat’s beta program. You should know that every beta program suffers from some bugs. If you do decide to join the beta program, it’s pretty easy. Just launch the app on your Android device then go to Settings. Here,tap on the “Snapchat Beta” option which is hosted under the “Advanced” sub-menu. Finally, tap on the “Count me in” button to enrol in the beta program. After you join the beta, you can opt out anytime be repeating the same process. You will see an “Opt out” button instead of the join button as shown in the picture below.
