Xiaomi India to Celebrate 5th Anniversary with 5 Weeks of Surprise Announcements
Xiaomi is turning five years old in India next month and the company isn’t shying away from celebrating this occasion with, of course, its dedicated fan base. The company has taken to Twitter to announce a 5-week celebration that will see them unveil some new products, discount offers, and a lot more each week.
Xiaomi started its journey in India with the launch of the Mi 3 back in July 2014 and now we’re waiting for the Redmi K20 series to make its debut in India, also happening in July next month. This 5-week celebration announcement comes from Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain, whose tweet you can find attached below:

This means five Xiaomi product-related announcements are coming really soon and we think you can guess 3 of them right away. The company islaunching the Redmi K20 series in India in about four weeksand that coincides with this celebration. So, it’s going to be one of the surprises, satiating the hunger of users waiting for an affordable Snapdragon 855 device to land in the country. You can read all about the Redmi K20 & Redmi K20 Proright here.
The second surprise would be the launch of the electric trimmer (or shaver) which the company has beenteasing on its Twitter handlefor a couple of days now. Third, we’ll certainly see some attractive discounts being offered on popular devices including the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Go, and Poco F1.
Though we would love to see Xiaomi also bring theMi Band 4andRedmiBookto India alongside the Redmi K20 series, we’re skeptical of the same at the moment. We could probably see some Mi TV-related announcements during Xiaomi’s celebration, so stay return back for more info as it starts pouring in next week.
